Make sure that the distance between your hellevators cant be more than 200 feet. If you stumble upon a building like your base, a farm or an arena, dig around it. Repeat these steps untill you reach the other end of your world. Now travel another 200 feet and dig another hellevator. Once you reach this destination, dig a hellevator and climb back up. Now you must go to the edge of your world and use a compass to travel 200 feet towards the other side of your world. TIP: for maximum efficiency use ranger armor and buffs.
